Jiangsu Tianyu Environmental Protection Group Co., Ltd., established in 1968 and entering the environmental protection industry in 1978, is one of the earliest domestic companies specializing in the production of water supply and drainage and environmental protection machinery and equipment. It is currently a backbone enterprise of China's environmental protection industry, a standing director unit of the China Environmental Protection Industry Association, and a vice chairman unit of the Water Pollution Control Committee of the China Environmental Protection Industry Association. It is also among the "Top 10 Enterprises in Independent Innovation Capacity" in the national environmental protection industry, a designated production enterprise of the Ministry of Water Resources - National Environmental Protection and Equipment Development Center, a national enterprise that keeps contracts and values credit, and a AAA-level credit enterprise. The company headquarters covers an area of approximately 120,000 ㎡ and has a building area of 50,000 ㎡. It has passed ISO9001 quality management system, ISO14001 environmental management system, and OHSMS occupational health and safety management system certifications.
Based on the original Yangzhou City Urban Wastewater Treatment Engineering Technology Research Center, a provincial-level enterprise technology center, a provincial-level postgraduate workstation, and a national postdoctoral research workstation have been established. Always focusing on technological innovation and paying attention to the introduction and cultivation of high-level talents, the company has established long-term and stable industry-university-research cooperation relationships with Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Technology, the Water Pollution Control Committee of the China Environmental Protection Industry Association, and many other universities and research institutions. It has also invited many well-known domestic and foreign experts to serve as long-term technical advisors. By starting from research institution construction, technological investment, and talent cultivation, the company has promoted the improvement of its independent research and development capabilities.
By adopting new technologies and methods, the company continuously develops new products and adjusts its product structure. Its main products include bar screen cleaners, series gates, sludge scraper (suction) machines, and complete sets of equipment for municipal domestic sewage, industrial wastewater, industrial exhaust gas treatment, as well as urban water supply and drainage treatment—totaling over 80 series and more than 1,200 varieties and specifications. Some products have been recognized as national or provincial high-tech products; the bar screen cleaner is a China-famous product, while cast iron bronze-inlaid gates and sludge scraper/suction machines have been consecutively awarded the title of “Jiangsu Province Well-Known Product” for many years. The company has undertaken research on multiple projects, including the national 863 Program, Torch Plan, Spark Plan, Jiangsu Provincial Torch Plan, High-Tech Research Plan, and Science & Technology Support Plan, accumulating rich experience in the implementation and management of various scientific research programs. It currently holds 64 national patents, including 8 invention patents; another 12 invention patents have entered the substantive examination stage. The company has participated in the formulation of 9 industry standards and 2 national standards. It has registered “Tianyu” as its trademark.
The company holds Class B qualification for national environmental protection engineering design and Class A qualification for the operation of national environmental protection facilities, enabling it to provide integrated services covering environmental engineering design, construction, and operation; it also possesses production licenses for large steel-structure gates, A2-level pressure vessels, and nationwide industrial products; has obtained BV Classification Society certification; holds Grade I general contracting qualifications for municipal public works and mechanical and electrical equipment installation; and enjoys rights for self-operated import and export business. Focusing on quality, credibility, seizing opportunities, and expanding development, the company has grown into a comprehensive, modern enterprise group in the wastewater treatment industry—centered on R&D of water and air treatment processes, technologies, and equipment; with environmental product sales as its core; supported by two strategic pillars: manufacturing of water treatment, air treatment, and pressure vessel equipment, together with engineering construction; further reinforced by water/air treatment and environmental facility operation; and establishing an integrated industrial model spanning engineering design, equipment manufacturing, project construction, entrusted operation of sewage treatment plants, and environmental investment & financing. For many consecutive years, its product sales and engineering design/construction have ranked among the top in the fields of water pollution control and atmospheric pollution control, continuously playing a positive role in China’s water supply & drainage and environmental protection sectors.
