On May 14th at 2:30 PM, the 2nd Wen Dao Capital "513 Summit Environmental Industry Forum," hosted by the Jiangdu District People's Government of Yangzhou City, undertaken by the Zhenwu Town People's Government and Jiangsu Tianyu Environmental Protection Group, and co-organized by the Jiangdu Environmental Protection Industry Association and the Zhongyan Green Finance Research Institute, grandly opened its curtain in the Changjiang Hall of the Changqing International Hotel. This "Environmental Industry Forum" is a large-scale academic seminar of the 2nd Wen Dao Capital "513" Summit in Jiangdu District and another milestone in the journey of Jiangdu's environmental protection industry development.

On the afternoon of May 14th, at 2:30 PM, the Second Annual DaoDe Capital "513 Summit Environmental Protection Industry Forum" grandly opened its curtain at the Changqing International Hotel's Yangtze River Hall. This event was hosted by the Jiangdu District People's Government of Yangzhou City, co-organized by the Zhenwu Town People's Government and Jiangsu Tianyu Environmental Protection Group, and assisted by the Jiangdu Environmental Protection Industry Association and the Zhongyan Green Finance Research Institute.
This "Environmental Protection Industry Forum" is a large-scale academic seminar of the second Jiangdu DaoDe Capital "513" Summit, and it is also another milestone event in the development journey of Jiangdu's environmental protection industry. Mr. Yang Deyin, Standing Committee Member and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Jiangdu District Committee; Ms. Chen Xiuping, Secretary of the International Cooperation Center of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment; Professor Xiu Guangli, Dean of the School of Resources and Environmental Engineering, East China University of Science and Technology; and Dr. Cao Guihua, Deputy Chief Engineer of Jiangsu Tianyu Environmental Protection Group, participated in the forum by delivering speeches or presentations.
The environmental protection industry is a traditional advantageous industry in Jiangdu. After years of cultivation, expansion, and agglomeration, it has basically formed a complete industrial chain covering water, air, solid waste treatment, and soil remediation. A group of key backbone enterprises, led by Jiangsu Tianyu Environmental Protection Group, have emerged, and the industry's influence and market competitiveness have continued to increase, making positive contributions to the high-quality development of Jiangdu's economy and society.
In his address, Yang Deyin stated that with the in-depth implementation of Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought, ecological and environmental protection has risen to an unprecedented height, providing important strategic opportunities for a new round of development in the environmental protection industry.
Dr. Cao Guihua delivered a research report on "The Intelligent Development Trend of the Water Treatment Industry." He pointed out that "intelligent environmental protection and intelligent water plants, as well as intelligent municipal pipeline maintenance and management, will be widely applied in the water treatment industry, improving the control and efficiency of water treatment work."
Secretary Chen Xiuping of the International Cooperation Center of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment delivered a guiding report on "Development Practice and Future of Environmental Protection Industry Clusters." He emphasized that "China's environmental protection industry clusters are mainly concentrated in economically developed regions with a high degree of industrialization and strong scientific and technological innovation capabilities. We must be guided by scientific and technological innovation, strengthen international cooperation, and take integrated, cutting-edge, series, standardized, and intelligent development as the direction for the development of the environmental protection industry."
Professor Xiu Guangli, Dean of the School of Resources and Environmental Engineering, East China University of Science and Technology, delivered an academic report on "Integrating Advanced Technologies to Serve Ecological and Environmental Protection." He analyzed that "the future development direction of intelligent environmental protection is intelligent monitoring work, aiming for precise management and strengthening environmental monitoring of air, water, and solid waste. We need to control pollution from the source, research resource recycling technologies, and improve end-of-pipe treatment."
The reports by Secretary Chen, Dean Xiu, Dr. Cao, and other leading experts provided a rich feast of development concepts. The leaders and experts analyzed the situation from a high perspective, pointed out the path forward, and inspired everyone to move forward. The forum benefited the attendees greatly.
This "Environmental Protection Industry Forum" concluded successfully amidst the warm applause of all attendees. Secretary Peng Song of the Zhenwu Town Party Committee, Chairman Wang Minggen of the Jiangdu Environmental Protection Industry Association and Jiangsu Tianyu Environmental Protection Group, and General Manager Wang Qijun of Jiangsu Tianyu Environmental Protection Group provided strong support and guidance for this forum, ensuring that the content closely aligned with the actual situation of Jiangdu's intelligent development of the environmental protection industry, further enhancing the forum's social influence and industry driving force.
