Specific performance and analysis of bar screen cleaner: During flood season, excessive and high-concentration pollutants lead to single-rake overload and rake tube deformation and failure. The rake tube is an important moving part of the rotary cleaning machine, playing a dual role of supporting the chain and dredging pollutants. The middle part is the weakest link of the whole machine. Many related problems, such as chain plate distortion and chain breakage, are mostly caused by rake tube deformation. Therefore, its strength and stiffness should be fully guaranteed.
Bar Screen CleanerSolution: The rake tube material should have sufficient diameter and wall thickness, generally the width of the cleaner with a span of less than 6 meters. The rake tube should be checked against a concentrated load of 10000N.m, and its deflection should not be greater than 1/250, and the steel pipe wall thickness should not be less than 6 mm. For larger rotary cleaners, consider using multiple traction chains to improve the bearing capacity of the rake, or locally reinforce the middle part of the rake tube to make it a variable-section bearing member.
Chain breakage and derailment:
Specific performance and analysis of bar screen cleaner: There are three main manifestations. Firstly, after a long time of operation, some riveting parts of the chain plate are riveted, and the outer chain plate is detached, leading to chain breakage; secondly, the circular transition part of the chain to the back of the screen body, under heavy load, forms a large pressure on the rear track, causing the rear track to tilt inward and derail; thirdly, the chain is dragged by the deformation of the rake or uneven distribution of the rake, causing derailment.
Solution for bar screen cleaner: Long-pitch plate roller chain is the main moving part of the cleaner (rotary mechanical bar screen). For the circular transition of the chain, the diameter should be increased as much as possible in the design to ensure smooth transition and reduce the pressure on the circular track surface. For commonly used 125-pitch plate roller chains, this transition radius should not be less than 350 mm.
Sliding bearing wear;
Specific performance and analysis of most pump station bar screen cleaners: The bearing heats up quickly and wears severely. The relative sliding between the cleaner's bearing and the bearing seat causes rapid wear of the bearing, and the unreasonable design of the oil groove inside the bearing causes insufficient distribution of grease on the contact surface to form a pressure oil film, and untimely grease injection causes oil shortage.
Solution: Use locating pins between the bearing and the bearing seat to prevent relative sliding, replace self-lubricating bearings to improve lubrication effect, and use a forced automatic oil injection system to lubricate the bearing.
