Product Description
The rotary filter is mainly used for the deep treatment of wastewater. It is installed after a conventional secondary wastewater treatment system or in the secondary sedimentation tank of a conventional secondary wastewater treatment system. It mainly removes total suspended solids, and in combination with chemical addition, it can remove some phosphorus, turbidity, COD and other pollutants. It is suitable for upgrading and renovating existing wastewater treatment plants and achieving the discharge standards of new wastewater treatment plants, enabling the effluent to reach Class A standards from Class B standards.
Working Principle:
The working principle of the rotary filter mainly includes: filtration, backwashing, and sludge discharge.
(1) Filtration: Wastewater flows into the filter pool by gravity. A water distribution weir is set in the filter pool. The filter cloth adopts a fully submerged type. Wastewater enters from the outside of the filter cloth, the filtrate is collected through the hollow pipe, and flows out of the filter pool by gravity through the effluent weir. The whole process is continuous.
(2) Cleaning: During filtration, some sludge is adsorbed on the outer side of the filter cloth, gradually forming a sludge layer. As the sludge accumulates on the filter cloth, the filtration resistance of the filter cloth increases, and the water level in the filter pool gradually rises. The change in the liquid level in the pool is monitored by a pressure sensor.
(3) Sludge Discharge System: The filtration rotary disk of the fiber rotary filter is equipped with a hopper-shaped pool bottom to facilitate the collection of sludge at the bottom of the pool. The reduced sludge accumulation at the bottom of the sludge pool reduces the amount of sludge on the filter cloth, prolongs the filtration time, and reduces the backwash water volume.
Product Features:
(1) Higher filter cloth flux; the filter cloth uses new materials, and impurities are not easily adhered. It also has oil-repellent properties, making the filter cloth cleaning more thorough; the attenuation of the filter cloth is very small, thus increasing the flux of the filter cloth.
(2) Good treatment effect. It can intercept tiny particles with a size of several micrometers, so the effluent water quality and effluent stability are superior to those of granular filter pools and screen filtration.
(3) Novel design, impact load resistance. Vertical filter disc design.
(4) High backwashing efficiency and low water consumption.
(5) Fully automated control operation.
(6) Low head loss. Generally 0.3m in the filter pool, while the head loss in a sand filter pool is generally 2m.
(7) Low operating cost. Operating cost is less than 0.005 yuan/ton of water.
(8) Low installed power, simple and compact equipment.
Equipment Composition:
(1) Filter pool: A square pool, which can be made of steel-concrete structure or carbon steel, etc., according to the needs.
(2) Filter disc: Composed of fiber filter cloth and vertical hollow pipe skeleton.
(3) Backwashing device: A reverse suction pump and a transmission mechanism that drives the rotation of the rotary filter disc.
(4) Sludge discharge device: Conical sludge hopper for easy sludge sedimentation and collection.
